(Wholesale christian book) Spiritual Growth And The Words That We employ

By Janet Erickson

Our Language present to the outer world what our inner world is like. Our Language reveal our emotions and our emotions reveal our thoughts. The Words that we employ and their Impact on Spiritual Healing will be the focus of this article.

Spiritual Growth is the process of moving closer to our ideal state. Our complete state is when our true nature shines through. And our true nature is that which was given to use by our creator.

To let our true nature shine through we need to take off the many filters that warp our projected inner beauty. Are these filters made of some mysterious substance? Both our thoughts and emotions give life to these filters. Both expressed through our Language.

Why have I chosen to focus on the language that we use? I could simply have focused on thoughts or emotions. The reason I have chosen language is because they are the easiest to take note of. And our friends and associates can simply present to us our use of Words.

If someone says that you appear sad that is an interpretation that you could disagree with. But if they said that you said “I hate everybody” or “I love everybody” that is difficult to challenge. Growth is gauged by the words that we use. If you want your life to change then simply change your words.

It is difficult to directly modify your thoughts because thoughts are so fleeting. I am sure you have noticed how your thoughts roam from topic to topic. It is very tough to capture a picture of your thoughts in any single action.

Your emotions are the same as your thoughts. I am sure you have been surprised by your emotional reactions. Usually by the time we recognize an emotional state, such as anger, we might be to far gone too be able to change what is going on.

Observing Words is not the same. You can retract Language after you have spoken them. You can change you Words completely or simply change the order of what you have said. Instead of saying “You make me mad” you could say “What you are doing makes me mad”. There is a world of difference between those two sentences.

How does this help change the filters that block our true nature from shining through. Negative emotions are our smart filters. Emotions such as fear, hate, jealousy, anger etc… These negative emotions are best replaced with positive emotions such as gratitude, love, patience, kindness etc…

We can replace the negative with the positive by watching our Words and what we say. The more positive and uplifting our Words turned into, the more positive and uplifting will our thoughts and emotions become.

Our true nature shines through as we clear away the negative and as the positive grows.

Comprehending the Divine Classifications of Dreams to Solve the Meanings of Dreams

By Paul Graden

Dreams are common all the way through the Bible. They are one of God’s methods of sincere interaction with us. Such as when Solomon asked God for understanding to lead the realm of Israel (and was granted his appeal), the whole discussion happened in a dream! How many of us would have ignored such an discussion?

Biblically, dreams turn up from 3 major sources. The types of dreams that occur from each source will be discussed in detail in their proper sections.

Dreams Source: The Holy Spirit

Godly dreams turn up from the Holy Spirit. They can be hard to catalog because of God’s imaginative spirit. Now and then, different categories will have common characteristics.

Dreams Source: The Natural Man

These dreams are not supernatural by any means. They usually crop up from the flesh. Drugs can prompt dreams, as well as hallucinations or the soul.

Dreams Source: The Demonic Realm

Satan has no power, nor do his demons. His only tactic is trickery and they often use dreams to deceive. Scripture tells us that he sometimes shows himself as an angel of light, so knowing the Word of God and maintaining an intimate rapport with Him is critical.

Several undergo fear as they consider the risk of demonic activity and deception. Yet, I would propose to you that God is much more capable to watch over and defend you from such dreams than the adversary is able to con you.

Categories of Dreams: Internal vs. External

Regardless of the cause of any dream, they will always be either internal or external. Knowing this can help crack their value.

Internal dreams are most normal. You dream with reference to you! I dream concerning me! They are dreams of self-disclosure and are calculated to help us throughout life.

External dreams are in relation to outside events. Very little folks have external dreams unless their realm of influence is large. The prayer of Jabez was widely admired many years back. He asked God to expand his borders, meaning his area of influence.

An instance might be a minister dreaming about a family in his church. That family would be within his realm of influence. Conversely, that same minister would not customarily dream about a drug and alcohol center unless his Church started one - or God was showing him the opportunity. If God was showing him the prospect, that dream would not be a call to action, but a call to preparation.

The central theme is that the dream is within his area of influence. Chances are pretty thin that God would assign that same dream to a Kindergarten teacher, as it would be considerably out of the educator’s sphere of influence.

As you resolve to work out your dream, contemplate whether or not it is internal or external, if it is within your sphere of influence, as well as the source of the dream and you will have a significant start in understanding the meaning.

The creator, Dr. Paul Graden, is the initiator of The Joseph Gate. The Joseph Gate is a complimentary web site with intensive teaching in Biblical approaches to determine the meanings of dreams.

You Are Not Your Body Nor Your Mind

By Elysha

You think that you are this body you are flowing through. You have that body, but you mistake it to be who you are, and it is not.

You think that you are this mind that flows through this body. You have that mind, but you mistake it to be who you are, and it is not.

This belief that you are this mind-body is the only thing that you have ever suffered, and are still suffering. You suffer this because you have not yet seen the need to consciously focus your attention into the present on a momentary basis.

You will carry on mistaking yourself to be the body that you are flowing through in every moment that your full attention is not given to what is simply right here before you in this moment. Because of familiarity you will automatically gravitate to the “no conscious attention” state. Here, you are asleep, and you accept this to be your normal daily living.

This sleep-walking through life enables you to carry on making yourself as comfortable as possible in the circumstance of the pain and suffering (with occasional and much sought-after moments of pleasure) that you find yourself in.

Fortunately for you, you do not see what you are so constantly closing the door on; the love and light of your heart. You settle for what your mind tells you about it instead.

To realise this one that you are, requires a mind-body (a vehicle, a person, an individuation) to realise it through. You, as your heart, created this vehicle for you to realise your true nature through.

You; your true nature, is already right here and flowing through the eyes of this mind-body that you mistake yourself to be. When you energetically find and stop at and as this one flowing through your eyes, you will come to rest as who you are. Here, you are deeply at rest, and abide as and in the obviousness of your true nature. Here, you no longer mistake yourself to be something that you are not.

Who you are is already right here. You can actually be who you truly are right now, immediately. It is an entirely different motion to the one that you are currently playing out. You can stop suffering the nightmare of the mind informancy of this mind-body right now. You can do this simply by giving all of your attention to this present moment and seeing everything, just as it is.

Because you have been trying to be something that you are not for a very long time, this activity has a real charge to it. It will take some “practice” of seeing and being who you are for this activity to lose its momentum. There has been a huge investment of energy in this trying to be something that you are not. Because of this it will not just suddenly stop because you have begun to see who you are. You will need to bring your attention back into this present moment again and again. And again.

This simplicity of bringing of your attention into the moment is all it takes for you to be who you are. It is all it takes for anyone, teacher or not, to begin to live their true nature. And your mind-body is not you; it is the vehicle that enables you to give this attention and to realise who you are.
